B&B Theatres debuts flagship Liberty location

The owners of B&B Theatres "went all out" for their hometown of Liberty with their new 12-auditorium flagship theater at 1903 Victory Drive. Think high-tech offerings, heated leather seats and a full-service jazz restaurant. Oh, and it's home to the world's largest ScreenX system, which creates an immersive 270-degree experience for moviegoers.

"It's the biggest theater we've ever built (from the ground up)," B&B Theatres Executive Vice President Brock Bagby told the Kansas City Business Journal.

The nearly 56,000-square-foot complex opens to the public Thursday and features more viewing formats than any other theater in the U.S., according to Bagby.
