Patrick Dunn has worked in commercial real estate brokerage, tenant representation and development since 2012. He started his career working for his family’s business, JE Dunn Construction, from 1998 to 2012 before veering off into commercial real estate. He's been at Parkway Real Estate since 2013 and has 8+ years in the industry. Some of Patrick’s larger wins at JE Dunn came in Business Development as he won Battle HS in the Columbia School District ($60mm), Independence Events Center/Arena ($65mm), Moberly Replacement HS ($25mm), Olathe School District ($50mm) and many other notable projects through his Business Development background.
Patrick is licensed in both Missouri and Kansas and is working towards his CCIM designation. His deal volume has consisted of Office, Retail, Multi-Family, Industrial, Flex-Space, Storage, a large Parking garage, Land and Hospitality. Patrick's diverse knowledge of the industry, hard work and tenacity are keys to making deals happen and his extensive connections are some of the best in the CRE industry.
Patrick has been extremely involved with non-profit and charitable work. He was on the Board for the National Kidney Foundation for 14 years and served as Board Chairman for their Annual Magic of Giving Gala. He was their top fundraiser while on the Board. Patrick also served as a Board member for the Boys & Girls Club for 4 years, the Salvation Army for 8 years, The Downtown Rotary Club for 14 years and the City of Fountains Foundation since 2006.
Patrick is a life-long resident of the Kansas City area and is married to Amanda Dunn. They have 4 wonderful children; 3 daughters and a son. Patrick went to St. Thomas Aquinas high school in Overland Park and graduated from the University of Kansas with a Business Degree and minor in Psychology. He also attended Richmond College in London and received a post graduate degree in Construction Technology.
